Rooms that reflect who we are

We designed the room decorations based on themes (music, painting, personal history) that have influenced us on our life journey...

Nougaro

How could we not start with our humble tribute to one of the region's greatest artists.

His poetry and inimitable phrasing have accompanied us since our tender years and we like to think he could have been inspired by the ood vibes of the house.

"Nougaro" is the largest room in the house, equipped with a king-size 180 cm bed ; it's alos the coolest room, which is particularly pleasant in summer for those who don't like using air conditioning.

Blue Note

"Blue Note" is a fantastical dream that would summon the souls of Etta James, Janis Joplin or Amy Winehouse, accompanied by Miles Davis and John Coltrane !

The room is inspired by a "jazz club" atmosphere, cozy and intimate. It has the unique feature of opening onto a small private garden, very pleasant in fine weather.

Mucha

"Mucha" is a reference to Czech painter Alfons Mucha, it's the first room we renovated. It's also our first romantic trip abroad for a beautiful weekend in Prague; there are many connections between Mucha and France and even with Toulouse !

The room is inspired by an "Art Nouveau" atmosphere, dear to our favorite poster artist (tied with Norman Rockwell). It enjoys beautiful daylight and features a beautiful clawfoot bathtub.

Chocolat

"Chocolat" is a reference... to chocolate 😉; it's still one of the most incredible things mankind has invented, when you think about it. The idea came naturally when we chose this wallpaper depicting lush vegetation where cocoa trees could nestle.

The room is upstairs, under the eaves, it has a small desk area and guarantees a little moment of indulgence...

Eole

One of the Lauragais region's peculiarities concerns the wind (the Autan): warm (it blows from the Southeast), it has a reputation for "hitting you in the head" (as we say here 😉); The master of winds (Aeolus) is also the name of the first airplane invented by Clément Ader, precursor of the Aerospace industry so important to the Toulouse region (and to our families).

The room is also upstairs, under the eaves; it's the smallest but it's the closest to the moon and stars...

A magnificent place to relax and recharge. The rooms are comfortable and the setting is peaceful. I highly recommend La Pradasse !
